The Medicaid and CHIP Payment and Access Commission (MACPAC), an independent agency which analyzes and reports on Medicaid issues for Congress, has shared its agenda for its January 24-25 public meeting. ANCOR members who follow issues affecting dual eligible populations (Medicare- and Medicaid-eligible) could be interested in the Financial Alignment Incentives (FAI) pilot program which will be discussed at that meeting. According to the MACPAC description, the Commission will “discuss new work by MACPAC contractor Mathematica Policy Research, on the factors associated with higher or lower beneficiary enrollment in the FAI, which tests new approaches to financing and integrating care for people who are dually eligible for Medicaid and Medicare.”
ANCOR will let members know when minutes are available from that meeting.
