Official Hearing for HHS Nominee Alex Azar Possibly Dec 19 or Dec 20

PoliticoPro has reported that President Trump’s nominee for Secretary of Health and Human Services, Alex Azar,  may receive his first official hearing with the Senate Finance Committee as early as December 19 or 20. According to PoliticoPro’s sources, the Senate GOP is still hoping to confirm Mr. Azar by the end of the year, but may postpone his nomination vote until January pending on the progress of tax reform legislation. While at the time of this writing the Committee’s calendar does not yet show a hearing for Mr. Azar, ANCOR is following this story and will report any updates, as well as share video of the hearing once it occurs.
