President Meets with Senate Finance Committee on Tax Reform

The president met with the Senate Finance Committee, seeking to obtain support from its members for tax reform. The meeting included six Democratic Senators who will be up for re-election next year in a state the President carried in the previous election. The majority of Democratic Senators, if not all, are widely expected to oppose the legislation.
