Public Comment Period Officially Begins for DOL Independent Contractor Rule

As an update on our previous article on the Department of Labor announcing a proposed rule on classifying independent contractors, the full text of the proposal is now publicly available through the Federal Register. Its publication in the Federal Register means that the 30-day period for public comment for this rule has officially begun – the deadline to comment is October 26, 2020.
