Public Health Emergency Declaration Extended

On October 13, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra renewed the COVID-19 public health emergency (PHE) declaration. The PHE is now extended for another 90 days. The extension of the PHE also extends the 6.2% increased federal match authorized under the Families First Coronavirus Response Act, which is tied to the PHE.
