On January 16, the US Department of Labor (DOL) released its long-awaited Final Rule to update and revise DOL’s interpretation of joint employment under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). The primary intent of the Final Rule is to “promote certainty” among employers and employees with regard to FLSA joint employment and to therefore help employers better understand their FLSA obligations.

On Wednesday, February 5th from 2-3 PM (EST), Applied Self-Direction will hold a webinar to analyze the new rule and explore how the changes to DOL’s joint employment analysis may affect stakeholders in self-direction.
