Resource: What You Need to Know About the End of Year Health Extenders Bill

Congress is currently working on a legislative package to extend various health measures (the “health extenders” bill), which we expect to see released at the end of the year. We are following this package because is well-suited to house a longer-term renewal of Money Follows the Person (MFP) and contains provisions of interest to ANCOR members, such as DSH payments. Last week the ANCOR Government Relations Committee heard from Angela Lello, Senior Director of Public Policy at Autism Speaks, on this legislation during its monthly standing call.
