Senate Held CHIP Hearings

The first Senate CHIP hearing occurred Thursday, September 7th in the Senate Finance Committee. The hearing was fairly uneventful and seeks bipartisan support of funding the program. ANCOR’s concerns with CHIP legislation are geared towards what the House will be doing: there is a major effort to put language in the House CHIP bill around the HCBS Settings rule and possibly other adult and IDD Medicaid policy issues.
