As reported by Politico, Senate Democratic and Republican leadership have struck a deal to vote on 15 judicial nominees and then break for recess so Senate candidates up for reelection can return to campaign in their home states. With this deal, the U.S. Senate has joined the U.S. House of Representatives in recessing until after the election. This means that with your full Congressional delegations home and eager to interact with candidates, now is the time to schedule in-district meetings, site visits and other such events.
