Senate Schedules Hearing on Medicaid Fraud for June 20

The U.S. Senate Committee on Homeland Security, which has jurisdiction over agency accountability issues, will be holding a hearing titled “Medicaid Fraud and Overpayments: Problems and Solutions.”

Scheduled on June 20, the hearing will feature the Comptroller General of the United States and the Inspector General of the Department of Health and Human Services. Both positions cover oversight, audit and watchdog functions for the federal government.
