Senator Elizabeth Warren to Deliver June 5 Address on Harms of Deregulation

“U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) will deliver a major national address on the threat to public protections in the Trump era at a June 5 symposium hosted by the Coalition for Sensible Safeguards. ‘The War on Regulation: Good for Corporations, Bad for the Public’ will feature two panels, one focusing on deregulatory actions at key federal agencies and the other highlighting communities that have suffered as a result of inadequate regulation and enforcement. Maryland Attorney General Brian Frosh will deliver the closing remarks.”

The event will be livestreamed on June 5, 2018, from noon-2:30 pm EDT. At the time of the event, the Coalition’s report on regulations will also be issued on the same page as the livestream.
