Two More Congressional Retirements

This week, one U.S. Representative from each party announced they will not be seeking re-election in 2018:

• Congressman Trey Gowdy (R-SC), Chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, announced he will return to the judicial system but did not give further explanations. Read more here.
