The Administration for Community Living and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) have announced a new webinar in their Promising Practices Series. “Key Updates on the HCBS Settings Rule” will take place on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 from 2-3 pm EDT, with further information on the March 2023 end of the transition period for implementation of the HCBS Settings Rule. ANCOR has confirmed with CMS that this webinar will issue a training and slide deck detailing how states can use corrective action plans to request additional time to comply with staffing-dependent provisions of the HCBS Settings Rule due to the direct care workforce crisis.
