The Fall 2024 Unified Agenda of Regulatory and Deregulatory Actions was released last week. The regulatory agenda serves to list the statement of intent for regulatory activity and status of rules which federal agencies plan to act on in the following six to twelve months. Though the regulatory agenda is nonbinding and frequently subject to change, it provides a glimpse into the current administration’s work recognizing the next administration may have differing priorities.

Several regulations we are monitoring were listed on the agenda, including the proposed rulemaking on Workplace Violence in Health Care and Social Assistance anticipated in June of 2025, the final rule on Occupational Exposure to COVID-19 in Healthcare Settings anticipated in January of 2025, and the Ban on the Use of Electrical Stimulation Devices anticipated in October 2025.
