On December 11, 2018 at 10:15am ET, the U.S. House of Representatives Energy and Commerce Committee will hold a hearing titled “Implementing the 21st Century Cures Act: An Update from the Office of the National Coordinator.” The 21st Century Cures Act was the bill that ushered in the Electronic Visit Verification (EVV)legislation. ANCOR is flagging this hearing because, while the Office of National Coordinator’s role is to focus on technology components of the bill and EVV technically falls under the Medicaid component of the bill, technology implementation questions are a large part of the challenges surrounding EVV implementation in the I/DD domain. ANCOR has recommended questions about EVV implementation to Congressional Members present at the upcoming hearing
