U.S. Mayors Discuss Topics Relevant to I/DD Community at Winter Conference

The U.S. Conference of Mayors held its annual meeting from January 23-25, which features panel discussions and presentation on a variety of topics. ANCOR is flagging the conference agenda because it mentions topics that deeply touch upon the lives of people with disabilities, such as finding local solutions to housing challenges and transportation technologies. Videos from the panels were not yet available at the time of this writing, but ANCOR encourages its members interested in local policy development to monitor the conference page in case any of the discussions could inspire ideas on how to approach local elected officials about issues affecting people with disabilities.
