Chief Executive Officer

PPCH is seeking an experienced executive leader to lead our organization with excellence!

We are looking for a CEO who is passionate about our mission and resonates with our core values in providing exceptional services and support to the intellectually and developmentally disabled (IDD) population.

With meaningful, high-quality services in mind, the CEO is responsible for overall service, support, development, and financial operations of PPCH. You will exercise executive-level responsibility and decision-making, provide leadership, and ensure program quality and effectiveness. You will lead the Executive Team in developing and implementing PPCH mission, values, culture, and strategic plans.

Qualifications

What You’ll Need

Education and Training
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required, Master’s degree preferred

Experience
Required
• 7 or more years of experience in a leadership role is required
• 5 or more years of experience working with various disabled populations is required
• Strong experience with governmental budget streams, private funding, and insurance is required
Preferred
• C-Suite experience is preferred
• Experience working with the Colorado Developmental Disabilities System is strongly preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with individuals and groups at all professional levels with the ability to clearly and persuasively communicate, whether in an individual or public speaking environment
• Excellent supervisory and leadership skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and goals for self and others
• Knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in services, supports, and systems for people with I/DD (intellectual / developmental disabilities)
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced skill with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Ability to lead, influence, direct and motivate staff, community leaders, politicians, and stakeholders to ensure quality services according to the PPCH plan, budget, and mission
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a variety of personalities and leadership styles
• Able to thrive in a changing work environment and effectively manage competing demands and unexpected events
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and ability to meet PPCH driving requirements

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
• Work is primarily performed in a standard office environment
• There may be prolonged periods of working at a computer
• Some regular travel by car throughout the Denver Metro area is necessary

You’ll Get
Salary range of $160,000 – 190,000

Roles & Responsibilities

Some of your responsibilities will be:
• Enhancing PPCH’s position as a leader in the State of Colorado for innovative and high-quality supports for individuals receiving long-term care
• Modeling and teaching respect, humility, superb customer service, and appreciation for individuals in services and their staff, guardians and loved ones
• Identifying and recommending new processes, technologies, and systems to improve services and resources
• Establishing, implementing, and communicating the strategic direction of PPCH
• Creating and nurturing a culture for others to expand their thinking, challenge the status quo, experience professional and personal growth, and have confidence in PPCH services and leadership
• Inspiring, managing, and leading Directors and Executives in a way that builds mutual trust and partnerships
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with local and state agencies, committees, task forces, and other bodies that affect the operations of PPCH
• Operating PPCH in compliance with all applicable Federal, State, County, and Municipal statutes, rules, and regulations
• Participating in internal and external work groups, task groups, and committees
• Presenting to individuals, small and large groups, and government representatives
• Monitoring of operating budgets, programs, services, compliance, risk management, and quality assurance
