For more than 40 years, The Price Center has been empowering, encouraging, and caring for individuals with special gifts, needs, and abilities.
Started by a small group of dedicated families for their children in 1977, The Price Center has retained its sense of family, community, and belonging as it has grown and expanded its programming. The Price Center offers Community Day Programs, Employment Services, Day Habilitation, and Community Living programs that foster self-confidence and maximize physical, emotional, and intellectual capabilities, while striving to help each individual live as independently as possible in the larger community.
The salary range for this position annually is between $190,000 – $240,000 and will be commensurable with experience. The Price Center also offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications
The next CEO of The Price Center will be a proven visionary leader with a minimum of five to ten years of progressive leadership experience and, most importantly, will have a deep and abiding passion for the mission of The Price Center and the individuals and families it serves. The next CEO will have demonstrated inspirational, executive leadership in organizations where they have led exponential growth and change. They will possess a strong understanding of non-profit leadership and organizational development and will have experience in building healthy and productive teams.
The successful candidate will serve as the primary internal leader as well as the primary external representative of The Price Center. They will be a relationship builder, comfortable with being the face of the organization, skilled in coalition building and advocacy, practiced at public speaking and multi-faceted communication, and able to navigate and energetically participate in an ever-changing funding landscape. The leader will be a well-regarded and effective advocate for The Price Center’s mission which includes educating the public about individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, dispelling inaccurate stereotypes, building bridges to organizations and people who can help The Price Center participants navigate multiple complex needs.
Roles & Responsibilities
The next CEO will have the opportunity to lead The Price Center through an innovative and inspiring period of impact. It is the ten-year vision of the Board of Directors to grow The Price Center as an independent 501(c)(3) with a goal to expand its scope and size three-fold. It will accomplish this by developing innovative, high quality programming that employs cutting edge research and technology to support participants in achieving their goals.
As The Price Center grows, it will maintain its cherished “small community” ethos, while expanding its reach into neighboring communities thereby fostering greater acceptance and integration. As a people-centric organization, The Price Center will maintain and nurture its workforce, cultivating an environment where staff can learn and grow and contribute the collective success of the organization. Finally, The Price Center’s strategic growth efforts will focus on financial sustainability and state of the art facilities to ensure the longevity and impact of the mission.
