Position Summary
Maintains a high-quality program to support individuals with intellectual disabilities or autism. Leads the development of community participation and employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Collaborates with executive committee members to support the organization’s goals and strategy.
Qualifications
- Supervisory experience is required
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and at least 3 years of good driving
experience with your license, and must meet our driver eligibility criteria - Basic computer skills required
- Education and Experience Requirements
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Administration, Business, Special Education, Psychology, Public Health, Rehabilitation, Social Work, Speech Pathology, Audiology, Occupational Therapy, Therapeutic Recreation or other human services field; and 4 years of work experience in administration or the human services field; and 1 year experience working directly with disabled persons.
OR
A master’s degree or above from an accredited college or university in Administration, Business, Special Education, Psychology, Public Health, Rehabilitation, Social Work, Speech Pathology, Audiology, Occupational Therapy, Therapeutic Recreation or other human service field, which includes at least 15 credit hours in administration or human services; and 2 years of work experience in administration or the human services field.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Full- time, Exempt position
- Oversight for the administration and general management of all day supports programming
- Lead and support a team with daily operations and challenges to achieve programmatic goals
- Oversight for supervision, evaluation and support to all day program staff members
- Lead and facilitate a support network between individuals accepting services, family members and the community
- Promote and implement the Everyday Lives philosophy in all programmatic initiatives
