IDD Services Senior Director

Position Summary

Oversee multi-site operations, program growth, quality, compliance, and financial performance. Lead, coach, and develop a team of up to seven direct reports. Drive business development and expansion of services throughout Washington. Build and maintain relationships with state agencies, community partners, advocacy groups, and other stakeholders. Ensure regulatory compliance and high-quality services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). Maintain accountability for operational performance and P&L management.

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (flexibility required based on business needs).
• Travel: Regular travel throughout Washington State is required.
  Salary: $140,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Special Education, Counseling, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of multi-site leadership in I/DD or developmental disability services (7–10 years preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of business growth and service development experience.
  Experience overseeing Supportive Living, Waiver programs, Residential Group Homes, and/or Day Programs.
• Minimum 5 years of financial management experience, including responsibility for a $30M+ operating budget and P&L.
• Knowledge of Washington State DDA systems and Medicaid Waivers preferred.
• Strong leadership, operational, compliance, budgeting, and relationship-building skills.

• Manage program budgets, financial performance, and a $30M+ P&L.
• Monitor KPIs, operational metrics, and service quality.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, Medicaid waiver, and licensing requirements.
• Oversee hiring, performance management, staff development, and retention.
• Represent Dungarvin at community events, industry meetings, and stakeholder engagements
