Position Summary
Empowered is a leading provider of Community Based and Traditional Day Services, non-medical transportation and Ohio Shared Living Services. Our locations are all custom designed and built solely to provide services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We leverage technology to enhance family communication, documentation and automated business practices.
The Branch Manager is the business leader for a given location. This position will oversee an Assistant Manager position, nursing staff, direct care staff and driver positions. Each Branch serves approximately 100 individuals and families and the Manager would be responsible for approximately 1.75-2.0M in services annually.
Empowered has grown from one location in 2018 to ten centers in 2024. We are agency that focuses on excellence and growth. We are looking for a caring, ambitious, self-starter to grow our Cincinnati market.
- This is a salaried position with monthly bonus potential, opportunity for growth.
- The position is not remote, must be willing to live in or commute every day to the Cincinnati Metro area.
- Special consideration given to candidates with Ohio ID/DD experience.
Qualifications
- College Degree or at least 7 years professional experience in the Human Services Field, Healthcare, Sales or some combination of experience.
- Demonstrated Experience managing $1M plus budget
- Demonstrated Experience managing 10 plus direct reports
- Criminal Background Check
- Drug Screen and Physical
- Certification in CPR and First Aid.
- Driver’s License and Bureau of Motor Vehicle Driver History Review

- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, critical thinking skills and creativity.
- Employee must be physically capable of bending, reaching, transferring, assisting with transfers and lifting people who require physical assistance.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Maintain enrollment targets of Empowered Center including conducting tours, educating families and caseworkers, completing intake and annual meetings for the people we serve.
- Responsible for daily operations of an Empowered Community Services Branch including supervision of all Branch employees, regular customer service and communications to families, and schedule and lead staff meeting, staff training and develop staff competencies.
- Responsible for all aspects of complete and accurate program documentation including time and attendance, program and goal documentation, transportation and trip documentation.
- Promoting and maintaining a culture of safety and wellness including responsibility for timely and accurate incident reporting.
- Schedule and lead staff meeting, staff training and develop staff competencies.
- As necessary perform the duties of an Assistant Branch Manager including direct care and transporting the people we serve.
- Responsible for the continuous quality improvement of Empowered services, the building we work in and the vehicles and equipment we use. Ensure the cleanliness of the Branch and sufficient stock of program supplies, cleaning and paper products.
