HOURS WORKED:

Regular working hours for this position are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. However, candidates should be prepared for on-call responsibilities that may require work during evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts. Additionally, occasional travel to the Minnesota Central Office in Mendota Heights should be expected.

Qualifications

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:
Bachelor’s degree in human services field (Psychology, Counseling, Allied Health, Educational, Social Work, Psychology, or Behavioral Science related field.

Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in human services or health organization

Experience managing the following settings: Residential, Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS), Unit Based, High Acuity (HA), and Supported Independent Living (SIL).

NICE TO HAVE:
245D regulatory knowledge and experience in addition to fee-for-service programming

Previous experience with the state of Minnesota systems and/or experience working with managed care systems and waiver services (Developmental Disabilities (DD), Brain Injury (BI), Community Alternatives for Disabled Individuals (CADI), Community Alternative Care (CAC), and the Elderly Waiver (EW)

Knowledgeable and adaptable to new software technologies; as well as being an

intermediate-level user of Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Roles & Responsibilities

Areas of Responsibility:

The Director is responsible for the management and operation of services, staff, and physical plant. Maintaining a high quality of care and coordination of organizational services while promoting Dungarvin’s mission. The Director is focused on outcomes in the following areas: DMP, Profit, AR, Quality, Oversight, Licensing, Customer Satisfaction, and Open Beds.

Ultimately responsible for the overall quality of services provided and in the implementation of Dungarvin’s mission.

Assure programs are in compliance with all applicable Licensure, Certification,
Contract Standards and applicable standards of care.

Ultimately responsible for the overall financial management of assigned area and services.

Work cooperatively within the State management team regarding the overall state operations.

Assure proper management of persons served and household finances.

Ultimately responsible for the management and supervision of all personnel.

Ultimately responsible for the development and implementation of a comprehensive training program for personnel.

Ultimately responsible for the physical plant and properties of Dungarvin.

Provide leadership and direction in promoting the concepts, beliefs, and purpose of the program and organization.
