Qualifications

*A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services and ten (10) years of experience in the field of developmental disabilities; minimum of five (5) years of experience directly supervising staff and minimum of two (2) years of experience administering Human Service programs OR a Master’s Degree and a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in the field of developmental disabilities; minimum of five (5) years of experience directly supervising staff and minimum of two (2) years of experience administering Human Service programs.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record
  • The successful candidate will also need to pass a background check, and pre-employment screenings which include a drug screen and physical/ergonomic test

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for adult residential services supporting approximately 150 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across 54 community-based homes. Oversees 300 Direct Support Professionals and 14 managers to ensure high-quality, person-centered services aligned with individualized support, behavioral, and nursing care plans.
  • Leads service delivery to promote choice, dignity, independence, health, safety, and community inclusion while maintaining regulatory compliance, fiscal responsibility, and operational effectiveness. Champions Person-Centered Thinking principles and ensures adherence to agency, local, state, federal, and DDA requirements.
  • Advances organizational strategic goals, quality improvement initiatives, CARF accreditation standards, and best practices through performance monitoring and outcome measurement. Serves as a liaison with regulatory agencies and community partners, fostering collaboration, accountability, and excellence in services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
