ANCOR member agencies and state associations have seen some exciting changes in leadership over the past months.
Indiana Association of Rehabilitation Facilities (INARF)
Steve Cook (left) retired from INARF after serving four years as the Indiana state association’s President & CEO. In early May, John Barth (right) became President & CEO at INARF. John also is a member of the Indianapolis City-County Council. He previously served as COO at Managed Health Services and also worked for the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration.
Nebraska Association of Services Providers (NASP)
Tony Vargas was recently appointed to serve as Executive Director of NASP. Tony is also a member of the Nebraska State Senate and was selected to participate in the Presidential Leadership Scholars program, a competitive leadership program created by Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush. He formerly led the Omaha Healthy Kids Alliance, whose mission is creating healthy homes for families and preventing childhood lead poisoning in Omaha.
State of Nevada Association of Providers (SNAP)
Nate Boyack, owner/executive director of BAI, a residential service provider agency located in Las Vegas, was recently elected as president of SNAP. Nate has been working in the I/DD services field since 1998.
