Pamela Fields to Retire, Maritza Dell Chosen as MidState Arc’s Next CEO

During her time as an advocate for the rights of people with developmental disabilities, CEO Pamela Fields partnered in creating the agency’s Assistive Technology Training Center, has grown the agency’s annual budget from $3 million and 80 employees to over $11 million and 200 employees. Pamela will be retiring at the end of 2026. ANCOR wishes her a happy retirement and thank her for the tremendous work she’s done across her career. We’re especially grateful for her service to ANCOR through a number of engagements, including by representing Connecticut on the Board of Representatives.

Maritza Dell, who currently serves as MidState Arc’s Chief Operating Officer, will be promoted to CEO upon Fields’ retirement. Inspired by her own family’s challenges, Maritza entered the human services field and has been working within it since 2000. Dell holds an MBA with a concentration in nonprofit management, and has been instrumental in expanding the agency’s reach and effectiveness. Congratulations, Maritza!
