Susan Brownknight Exits as CEO of LADD, Inc.
After 15 years, Susan Brownknight officially retired on July 17. Neil Tilow has taken over the role in an interim capacity. Brownknight’s moved on to become CEO at Signal Ohio, a nonprofit media organization dedicated to empowering communities and strengthening democracy.
‘To the people I’ve had the privilege of supporting for 15 years: You are the reason. Full stop. Watching you claim your independence, your homes, your futures — that has been the honor of my career. This was never my story. It was always yours. I just got a front-row seat.’
On July 1, Catherine Thibedeau stepped down from her role with 3Rivers to begin her new career as a full-time consultant. In a message posted on LinkedIn, Thibedeau shed light on the move:
‘Leaving my role as Executive Director at IAM and now as an employee of 3Rivers has been bittersweet. I deeply love the agency and what we have become. I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunities and purpose I found there.
At the same time, I’m energized by what’s ahead, supporting agency’s and systems, solving complex challenges, and (hopefully) making a small dent in improving our service systems and outcomes for the people supported within them.’
