Armando Contreras to Step Down as President & CEO of UCP

Earlier this month it was announced Armando Contreras would be stepping down from UCP after eight years serving as President & CEO. Contreras has been an instrumental partner to ANCOR, both as a member and in offering ANCOR the opportunity to collaborate on the production Case for Inclusion, released jointly by UCP and ANCOR each year.

In announcing his departure from UCP, Contreras shared, “I have decided to step away from my role to pursue personal interests. Leading UCP has been one of the greatest honors of my career. I am deeply grateful to each of you — our affiliates, staff, and trustees — for your dedication, collaboration, and unwavering commitment to creating a life without limits for people with disabilities. Together, we have strengthened our network, expanded our reach, and made a lasting difference in the lives of those we serve.”

Effective November 17, Diane Wilush was named interim President & CEO.
