CMS Health Equity Roundtable to Take Place on December 8

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Innovation Center is hosting a Health Equity Strategy roundtable discussion on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 from 1:30pm – 3:00pm ET. The roundtable discussion follows the release of the CMS Innovation Center’s recently published white paper “Driving Health System Transformation – A Strategy for the CMS Innovation Center’s Second Decade.”

The roundtable discussion will focus on the approaches and interventions CMS should prioritize when building models to eliminate health inequities, options for expanding collection of self-reported demographic and social needs data, and determining the most significant obstacles for providers who want to participate in the CMS Innovation Center.
