About Allison

Allison Stark is the Chief Executive Officer of Albertina Kerr, a nonprofit empowering people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and mental health challenges to lead self-determined lives in their communities. She is a visionary leader and passionate advocate for disability rights and inclusion in all aspects of society. Allison serves on the boards of two statewide advocacy organizations, the Oregon Resource Association and The Arc Oregon, and was recently elected to the Board of Directors of the American Network of Community Options and Resources (ANCOR).

She has experience in both government and nonprofit sectors. Previously, she was the Director of the Division of Developmental Disabilities at the Illinois Department of Human Services. Prior to that she was President and CEO of Orchard Village, a Chicago nonprofit providing services to people with I/DD.

She holds a master’s degree from the University of Chicago, a bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and a Nonprofit Management Certificate from Chicago’s North Park University.
