Darlene Scott

An employee of The Phoenix Residence, Inc. for over 35 years, Darlene has served as President & CEO since 1998. Darlene has served in many roles in her tenure at Phoenix, starting with her first position in Senior Resident Care, an entry-level supervisory position working on the floor along aside staff that she supervised.

Darlene is a Past President of the Association of Residential Resources of Minnesota (ARRM). Darlene served as a member of ARRM’s Board of Directors for eight years and has served on the Executive Committee for four years.

Darlene also served on the Board of Directors for Care Providers of Minnesota for several years and was the Minnesota liaison to the American Health Association on issues related to services for persons with disabilities. Darlene also is active in her community and in her church. She served on the Board of the Cottage Grove Athletic Association. She currently serves President of the Senior Ushers in her church. She previously worked for Ramsey County, Project Reconnect and as a social worker.

She served as Administrator of People Community Care.
