About Maghan
Maghan Bowman is a dedicated professional with a strong background in empowering individuals and fostering community connections. As a seasoned advocate for diversity and inclusion, she brings her 20 years of expertise in program development, service delivery, and community outreach to create opportunities for people from all walks of life.
For the last 10 years of her career, Maghan has worked at Exceptional Persons, Inc. (EPI). EPI is a nonprofit organization providing support in residential, employment, payee and intermittent services to over 400 individuals. She was appointed Executive Operations Director in 2024.
Her collaborative approach and passion for creating positive change make her a valuable leader in her field. Maghan continuously strives to uplift others and create environments where everyone can succeed.
In addition to her professional work, Maghan is actively involved in initiatives that promote accessibility and inclusion, ensuring that all voices are heard and valued.
Maghan has served on ANCOR’s Board of Representatives since 2019. She was later appointed Co-Chair on the ANCOR Board of Representatives in 2023. Maghan is an active member of the Government Relations Committee through ANCOR and was recently awarded the Bonnie-Jean Brooks Rising Star Award.
A native of Hudson, Iowa, Maghan attended the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology with minors in Family Studies and Sociology.
She and her husband, Marcus, have a son, Grayson, a daughter, Delaynee, and a dog, Dallas.
