Analysis: Final Rule on Overtime Exemptions

On April 26, 2024, the United States Department of Labor (DOL) published the final Overtime Rule, which raises the minimum salary threshold for exempt employees from overtime pay requirements to $844/week ($43,888/year) on July 1, 2024 and $1,128/week ($58,656/year) on January 1, 2025.
