On April 1, 2022, the Long-Term Care Coalition sent a letter to the U.S. Department of Labor’s (DOL) National Prevailing Wage Center to request that DOL take specific actions to help the long-term care industry’s workforce crisis. Specifically, the letter’s co-signers requested that DOL improve its process and timeliness of issuing prevailing wage determinations for Schedule A petitions, which is currently limited to physical therapists and registered nurses.
