ANCOR is proud to be a sponsor of “From Promise to Progress,” a virtual DSP Recognition Week event taking place September 12-15. Hosted for the second consecutive year by NADSP and the Research and Training Center on Community Living from the Institute on Community Integration at the University of Minnesota, the event will be completely free to attendees and we encourage everyone to participate. During each session of the event there will be a gift card raffle for DSPs.
The theme ‘From Promise To Progress’ builds on the 2020 theme ‘From Praise To Promise.’ It goes beyond just the recognition and appreciation for DSPs by sharing specific actions and cutting-edge approaches to improve the human services field and elevate the status of DSPs. ‘From Promise To Progress’ will feature breakout sessions, panels, keynotes, and the presentation of the John F. Kennedy Jr. Award.
