ANCOR Joins over 400 Organizations Opposing HR 620

ANCOR continues to oppose HR 620, the ADA Education and Reform Act, which passed the House earlier this year.  The legislation would seek to put in place greater barriers to enforcement of the Americans with Disabilities Act and ANCOR has joined with its disability partners in strongly opposing the bill and upholding the goals and rights ensured by the ADA.  The letter was issued to Senate leadership including the leadership of the Senate Judiciary Committee which will be reviewing the bill to discuss any further action to move it forward.
