The National Health Law Program (NHeLP) is launching a multi-part webinar series to support implementation of the so-called One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBA), with sessions designed for advocates, providers, and state partners navigating new federal requirements. The series begins Thursday, August 14, 2025, at 2 pm EDT with an overview of OBBA and a walk-through of the implementation timeline.

Subsequent sessions will take up discrete policy areas that matter to the I/DD community and the providers who support them:

  • August 28: Preparing for work requirements.
  • September 11: Examining how automated eligibility systems can both impede or streamline access for applicants and enrollees.
  • September 25: The role of due process protections.
  • October 9: Access-to-care issues, including cost sharing, premiums, and retroactive eligibility.
  • October 23: OBBA’s impact on people with disabilities.

Registration for the August 14 kickoff webinar is available now, and additional registration links will be posted as sessions approach on their new landing page for post-OBBA resources.
