ANCOR joined a letter along with other coalition partners in support of the Provider Relief Fund Improvement Act (S. 3611/ H.R. 5963). The letter thanks members of Congress for their support of the Provider Relief Fund (PRF) and endorses the new legislation that would make much-needed improvements to the program to ensure providers can adequately receive and use the funds.

In particular, the Provider Relief Fund Improvement Act would extend current PRF reporting and use-of-funds deadlines to the end of the pandemic, ensure that workplace safety improvements are an allowable use of PRF dollars, direct the administration to distribute any funds remaining in the PRF by either the end of the public health emergency or by March 31, 2022, and create an application process for certain providers to receive funds returned in compliance with previous deadlines.
