About Elise

Elise joins ANCOR with over 10 years of public policy and advocacy experience. Prior to coming to ANCOR, she served as both State Policy Counsel and Federal Policy Counsel at Americans United for Separation of Church and State. She also led the National Coalition for Public Education, a group of over 50 national education, civil rights, disability rights, secular, and religious organizations in support of funding for public education. Elise has previously worked as a legal fellow for FairVote and on successful congressional campaigns in both Florida and Virginia. Elise obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Law School in 2011 and her Bachelor of Arts in Government from the College of William and Mary in 2008.
