On December 22, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) issued a notice to extend the currently approved 2019 version of the 1915(c) Waiver Application and Technical Guide through a separate upcoming 30-day public comment period. CMS stated, “[t]his approach will provide additional time for CMS to finalize responses to the comments on the proposed changes received by the close of the November 13, 2023 comment period.”
