On March 1, Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month began. Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month is a month-long campaign organized by the National Association of Councils on Developmental Disabilities and its partners “to raise awareness about the inclusion of people with developmental disabilities in all aspects of community life as well as awareness of the barriers that people with disabilities still sometimes face in connecting to the communities in which they live.”

For more information and how you can participate in the campaign on social media, visit the Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month website.
