The Center on Budget and Policy Priorities (CBPP) has released a new resource that highlights the top occupations among workers with Medicaid that would likely be subject to the work requirements included in the budget reconciliation bill.

The CBPP resource utilizes state-by-state data, looking at 30 different occupations for workers ages 19 to 64 without children enrolled in Medicaid and living in Medicaid expansion states. A state-by-state dataset is available, as well as national trends that demonstrate that personal care aides are the second most likely occupation to be impacted by the imposition of work requirements. Home health aides rank #15 on the list. There is no specific data for direct support professionals in this dataset.
