Provider Relief Fund Portal Opened for Reporting Period 2 Funds

The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) has opened its portal for providers to report Provider Relief Fund (PRF) money received during Period 2. HRSA requires reporting for all providers that received certain payments during the second period. HRSA states: “Providers who received one or more General and/or Targeted PRF payments exceeding $10,000, in the aggregate, from July 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020 must report on their use of funds in Reporting Period 2.” The reports must be submitted by March 31, 2022.

This second PRF reporting period may be the first time many HCBS providers are required to submit reports; providers that did not receive PRF payments until after July 1, 2020, are unlikely to have submitted reports during the first reporting period. For more information, HRSA also provides additional resources on the PRF reporting website, including updated guidance of reporting requirements for PRF recipients.
