Last week, the Senate Judiciary Committee held four days of hearings to consider the confirmation of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to the U.S. Supreme Court. Judge Jackson answered questions from members of the committee for two days. The other two days focusing on testimony from outside witnesses. The next step is for the committee to vote on whether to advance Judge Jackson’s nomination to the full Senate for a vote. The committee is expected to vote on April 4, with a vote by the full Senate likely by April 8 before the Senate leaves on recess.

ANCOR supports the confirmation of Judge Jackson, and joined a coalition letter highlighting Judge Jackson’s judicial record and commitment to upholding disability rights.
