ANCOR Response for Information on Health Care Workforce Shortages

ANCOR has submitted comments in response to the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) Committee’s Request for Information emphasizing the importance of including the direct care workforce in legislative efforts to strengthen the health care workforce.

Specifically, in this letter, ANCOR urges Congress to:

• Support career pipeline programs for direct support professionals.
• Increase provider payment rates.
• Create a Standard Occupational Classification for direct support professionals.
