Disability & Aging Coalition Comment Letter on PREVENT Pandemics Act

On February 4, 2022, the Disability & Aging Collaborative sent a letter to Senator Patty Murray (D-WA) and Senator Richard Burr (R-NC), Chair and Ranking Member of the U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor & Pensions, providing input on the draft of the PREVENT Pandemics Act. The letter expresses its co-signers’ concern that the PREVENT Pandemics Act does not address older people and people with disabilities, both of which are disproportionately impacted during public health emergencies.
