Quality by Design: Measuring, Managing, and Proving Program Integrity

1:00pm-2:00pm EST

This series gives providers a practical framework for turning Medicaid billing and quality data into clear, defensible evidence of program integrity.

Strong program integrity doesn’t happen by accident—it’s intentionally designed. This series equips you to do more than meet compliance requirements. Across three sessions, you’ll learn what’s required to bill a compliant service, how to turn compliance gaps into a real quality improvement plan, and how to use data to demonstrate program integrity and reduce risk.

Each session builds directly on the last, giving providers a repeatable framework for program integrity rather than a one-time compliance check.

You’ll leave with a holistic and practical framework for demonstrating program integrity when it matters most.

Sessions

Session 1 — Measuring: What Program Integrity Requires

Strong program integrity starts with compliance. Join us for Session 1 of Quality by Design as we break down what compliance really requires: the compliance loop, revenue cycle basics, and the documentation threshold every provider needs before billing a service.

Session 2 — Managing: Turning Gaps into a Quality Improvement Plan

What you measure, you can manage. Session 2 of Quality by Design shows you how to spot compliance gaps large and small, read trends in incident management and quality assurance data, and build a quality improvement (QI) plan designed to actually move programs forward.

Session 3 — Proving: Using Data to Demonstrate Integrity

Close the program integrity loop by proving it works. In this third session of Quality by Design, we’ll learn how to use data to measure QI impact, organize documentation and ownership, and identify vulnerabilities and consistency opportunities across service types.

Learning Outcomes

In this three-part series, you will learn how to:

  • Measure what compliance requires (revenue cycle basics, billing documentation, and more)
  • Manage compliance gaps through quality improvement
  • Prove your results and identify opportunities with data

Registration
