ANCOR has been working to advocate for a more reasonable approach to the Department of Labor’s proposed Overtime Rule, Defining and Delimiting the Exemptions for Executive, Administrative, Professional, Outside Sales, and Computer Employees.

While there is much to cover, a critical component of the proposed rule highlights an administrative focus on increasing the federal salary threshold for overtime pay from the current $684 per week ($35,568 per year) to $1,059 per week ($55,068 per year).

This Action Center offers analysis on topline items and timeframes from the proposed rule, potential implications and impacts for community-based providers, and opportunities to take action.
