ANCOR Urges Senate to Support Medicaid HCBS Funding in the Build Back Better Act

On Friday, ANCOR sent a letter to the U.S. Senate urging Senators to support the Build Back Better Act insofar as it includes funding for Medicaid Home and Community Based Services (HCBS). The letter asks that as negotiations continue, Senators ensure the same $150 billion investment in HCBS as included in the House-passed bill remains part of the Senate’s version of the Build Back Better Act. The House’s investment in HCBS is critical in ensuring states can take steps to expand access to services for people with disabilities and meaningfully invest in the direct care workforce.
