The Interagency Autism Coordinating Committee (IACC), represented by the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) Office of National Autism Coordination (ONAC) within the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), invites public engagement on co-occurring conditions in autism. The comment period, ending February 14, 2024, serves as an opportunity for individuals to contribute insights that will aid the IACC in identifying priorities related to both physical and mental health conditions that commonly co-occur with autism.

The primary objective is to gather public perspectives on the impact of these co-occurring conditions, as well as insights into the research, services, and policy needs crucial for addressing issues linked to these conditions. Recognizing the significance of comprehensive and diverse input, the IACC encourages individuals to share their experiences, knowledge, and suggestions on these critical matters.

Submit your public comments via the IACC’s website.
