Last week, the House Energy and Commerce (E&C) Subcommittee on Health held a markup to evaluate a series of significant health-related legislative proposals. These proposals aim to extend access to telehealth services, reinforce the Medicaid program, and promote innovation in pediatric rare disease treatments.

The subcommittee successfully advanced 21 pieces of legislation to the House floor. Notably, 18 of these bills received unanimous support including the Think Differently Database Act (H.R. 670), a bill that ANCOR has endorsed, which would help individuals with physical or intellectual and developmental disabilities find supportive services in the community.
